KFC is now offering grilled chicken along with the regular fried chicken. Go to www.unthinkkfc.com and you can print out as many coupons as you want for a free 2 piece chicken dinner. The coupon is good through May 19, but not valid on Mother"s day.

Went and had my piece of grilled chicken with the family. Not bad, and better for you grilled. Doing something different for Mother's day though. I will be keeping an eye out for the Mother's day special. Thanks!

hey nanc, if you and james invite us all over for a cook out texas style, i'd help ya's bale hay. i always got stuck stacking bales on the hay rack, and then stacking them in the hay mow. hmmm....bbq ribs, cole slaw, three bean salad, pickled beets, some home made deviled eggs, tater salad, sweet corn, and iced tea!!!!! ok, when ya gonna have us over...i'm hungry now!!!!!!!

My office manager went to KFC when the offer was first made - places were jambed and they had run out - customers were yelling at the poor clerks - all for ONE piece of grilled chicken!

Every October Nancy and I invite our co-workers, friends, and family over for our annual "getaway".

We provide all the food, hayride tour of the farm, horse petting, antique tractor display, and other "country" activities.

One thing is for sure, all of those places are just a big turn off, darned gimmicks, and the guessing game as to what they are actaully feeding you, been years and years since I've chanced any of that big name fast food, way better off hittin the store, summer time veg stands, farms stands, local butcher (which is a dying trade) and making your own, raising your own or what have you, those darned places just don't do it for me, I'd rather just do the work myself and sitdown, be thankful for what I have, and enjoy. I realize some of them have tried to catch up to the times compared to what used to be, just that stigma is hard to shake.

I like what James mentioned happens at your place, whether attending or helping put it on and for me that is no trouble at all, enjoyable work to make something people know is good and will really enjoy. We do a similar thing at another friends farm/acreage, they don't really farm or do crops anymore, but rent it out, do a little logging here and there, but there's nothing like these gatherings even with the work involved to put it on.

the man who owns most of the KFC's in northeast arkansas and some in Memphis is NOT going to offer the grilled chicken. He said the grills cost too much !!!
