OT - Antique Military Vehicles

Hi all - thought you might like to follow the 2009 MVPA Convoy across the US this summer. It's following the Lincoln Highway route and I'm doing a day thru central Iowa with my old Korea-era Jeep. This is my first convoy, hope to have as much fun as I do on the tractor rides.

Looking at the Maps they are taking US 50 though California I grew up about 12 miles north of Folsom, Ca on the American River If I was till at home it would be easy for me to go watch them traverse the area. They will take the road that went right past my my old service station and the high school where mother went.
Also in Wy. they will go though Green River where I lived in 1950. NEAT

Been hearing about this convoy. I have been thinking about running my 1956 M38a1 Jeep in part of it. Can you travel with them for only a day or so?
Gotta say driving my 1944 John Deere B over the Mackinaw bridge was quite a thrill!!
