i finally wore out my o28 stihl, i bought it in the late '70's or early '80's i cant remember, knowing the new ones have some bad reviews i went pawn shop shopping for another o series, fount several from a large worn out o64 junker to almost new smaller ones a sign on the shelf said all saws half price, hmmm.. no o28's but a nice looking low hour o26 and a even nicer 025, told the lady im in a buying mood and could i take 1 or 2 outside and start them, she said she didnt have any gas, umm humm, well i just happend to bring mine along, gotcha! oh ok, she said, so i took the 025 out after 12 pulls i got 1 'pop' took it back in and tryed the o26, it was bone dry in the fuel tamk after giving it some it fired on the second pull , ran great, wonderd why somebody would pawn this, but saw somebody had sharpened the chain that didnt know how, the thing probably wouldnt cut rotten pine, i gave 150 for it without telling her that her half price was half the cost of a new saw, but i figured i wasnt doing bad at that price anyway, and left got home and propperly sharpened the chain and tryed it out on the wood pile, thing works great and it doesent appear to have many hours at all the chain was still the original and bar had most of the paint still on
