Massey Ferguson Backhoe ?

I just bought a 1960'sMassey Ferguson Backhoe it has a MF 34 loader on it with the serial number of 1687103617. I need to add hydraulic fluid as the bucket etc.... run slow if all of the cylinders are open. Where is the location of the tank. Any help would be great. I'm going to get a book but I would like to use it before the book arrives. Thanks guys.

almost always ,in the loader frame that the loader valve is mounted to. greg

mine is on right side, up on top of the loader frame, as you are sitting on the seat it is right there

has domed tin cap, do not unscrew the small cap, clean around the bottom and unscrew entire assembly, will be about 3/4 inch pipe threaded hole there

slow operation might mean clogged oil filter

Your backhoe could be from the 70's with an MF34 loader. Dave
