Just a Dog Question

Got a 8 year old Female Rat Terrier,weighs 8 lbs,in good health,has had two litters of 2.Would she be to old to have another litter without complications?

I goggled the question and the consensus say's stop at 5 or 6 years old it takes too much out of the animal

Lays on the individual dog and how you treat, feed, and generally care for her. We had a real good dog once and let her have a litter (turned out only being 2 pups) when she was 9 with the thought of keeping one because she was getting old. She ended up outliving the puppy and we put her down at 17. OTH, some dogs are burnt out at 5
