Has anyone ever used "Gard" brand Hydraulic oil in their tractors? They have pallets of it for sale at the local farm store. I would be using it in my Ford and New Holland tractor. Just wondering if it is a good brand to use. I have never heard of it, thats is why I am asking.
Thanks

It might be the best hydraulic there is and it might be the poorest there is. Each oil company rates their own oil (kinda scary).

As long as it meets the requirement of your equipment, it'd be fine to use. If it happens to be really cheap, maybe you could change it more often, if you're worried about it's quality.

If it is just hydraulic oil you may or may not be able to use it in your Ford depending on the age, definitely not the NH. They require a universal hydraulic-transmission oil.Plain Hydraulic oil will not work in the transmissions,it doesn' have the additive package needed for wet brakes and clutches and may in fact cause some real expensive damage.
