I am trying to find the tractor number of a long tractor. The side panel where this information was missing when I found the tractor. I found a model #2054 S#64012254 on the motor there is a number that reads D-121.050 If anyone can help me I would appreciated it I am looking to purchase and I/T manual for it to do some minor work to it if possible making a noise in the rear end.

Thanks Chad

You probably need to change the transmission and rear end oil. Be advised there are 2 plugs under the housing and you have to remove both to completly drain the oil. Change filter if it's the spin on type, clean if it's the wire mesh type.
Remember the oil in the gear housing at the end of each rear axle needs to be checked. Should be up to the bottom plug.
I hope you are looking at only minor repairs. I don't know where to tell you to look for the noise.
It uses tractor-hydraulic fluid. The transmission and rear end act as a oil resevoir for the hydraulic system. The power steering oil is in a different circuit and take s power steering fluid. The PS resevoir is at the top left hand side of the motor.

Thanks for all the info. done changed all the oil and filters and appears that the final drive that is making the noise has been welded on and filled with grease for some reason will have to tear into and check out.

Thanks Chad

KEH knows what he is talking about. *S Had a 610 at one time. Was and still is a good ole tractor. My friend owns it now and he uses it for everything.

They put that grease in ther to hide serious problems. I've seen people put heavy oil in to get the same result.Wondering if the gears are shot. Good luck. Hope I'm wrong.
