Last night we had a 70 MPH wind that laid our auger over. It's a 71' X 13" tube so it's no lightweight. There doesn't appear to be any damage to the tube or hopper and the cable braces can be straightened out, but how do we get this thing upright again without damaging it? Anybody have any experience in this field?
It was set up on a tall bin so it was pretty much all the way up, and I did have it tied to the top safety ring on the bin, because high winds were forecast but the wind still took it, and the safety ring too. Thinking back, I should have cabled it to a tractor. I guess we learn from experience huh? Jim
