modern view??

"Have a good weekend"

I WILL, if I can find a "field trip" for the wife to take without me, so I can stay here and "play" in the nice fall weather!
 
I have to do the same thing if I want to get anything that isn't on her list of priorities done. I get pretty creative when she's away.
 
I've got it pretty easy, as my farm and shop are about 23 miles from the (her) house.

As long as I get up early and quickly get on the road, I'm OK!
 
Our whole place (except for the pastures scattered around the outside of town) is about 60x200 ft. Plenty of hiding places but all within voice range. Living here is pretty neat though, always something going on within a couple of hours bus or train ride (less stress than driving). Trick is convincing her that it's her idea to go. Gotta lovem though.

Our place ain't all that big either and I can plead some herin' los when I need to, and can lso wander over to the neighbor's shop. Worst thing I ever did was but the bell up. Looks nice, but there ain't any ignorin' it.
