No Till Seed Drill

How much HP do I need for a pull type 6ft - 8ft no till seed drill? Are they available used & $$$$. We seeded 25 acres of pasture last week with rye but was using a regular old old old seed drill. Hard telling how much seed got in the ground as we were going through a pretty thick mat of blue stem part of the time plus the ground is very hard due to our lack of rain. I have a Ford 3000 (gasoline.

I use a MF165 (52 HP) to pull an 8 ft no till drill, I have also pulled this 8 ft drill with a MF20 Industrial (3 cyl Perkins gas, probably 35 of 40 HP). Both our local farm supply stores as well as the local ASCS office have these drills for rent on a per acre ($10) basis which is much cheaper the buying plus they maintain them.

I rent one for $10 an acre. A 7 foot drill can make a 60 HP tractor grunt.
