Plumbing FEL

Our old Kubota M7030 has a Quckie FEL that is powered through one set of remotes and you have to hold the handle back for it to work and then the 3 point and the other set of remotes won't work. There is a suction line and a delivery pipe running from the pump to the hyd connection at rear of tractor. What will happen if I plumb a tee into those lines and go to the FEL control? Will both remotes, the 3 point hitch and FEL all work together? Or IS HERE MORE TO THE STORY?

Do not know much about Kubotas, but a quick search shows that tractor has an open center hydraulic system. That means when you tee into the pump pressure line there will be no pressure, the oil is just flowing in the ..open.. loop back to the reservoir. The line only becomes pressurized when a hydraulic function is used. For the hair splitters of course there is some pressure there if the tractor uses the main hydraulics for power steering, but for his example to say there is no pressure is adequate. Do a web search on open and and closer center hydraulic systems if you want more info on that. I am sure there is probably a better way to connect your loader using a ..power beyond.. circuit that will move the loader supply away from the remotes. Someone knowledgeable about that tractor will have to answer on that.

Bill the good answer is no that will not work. When we added a loader to the 30 series right about the bell housing in the supply line there is a 4 inch piece that comes out, used a fitting to splice on there go to the in on the loader valve then the loader valve has a POWER BEYOND port take oil from that port back to that line going on to the rear of the tractor. Then added a third line from the OUT on the loader valve to the case drain plug on the tractor. No way to short cut it back at the rear that I know of.
