Ford 5610 Value

What would you all say a 1986 Ford 5610 is worth?

I found one at a dealer, but I'm thinking it is kinda steep. Mind you this is worthless Canadian money, but they want $27,900

What would be a good offer?

Being a II series with the better cab and very low hours... $16k to $19k down here. But thats just my opinion. Does it have the mech shuttle option on the high/low range?

Little steep IMHO. But with only 1300 hrs,and it looks so clean, that may not be far off. Go price a new one. That one at almost 28,000 may be a bargain. That tractor is old enough to not have computers or DEF.
A definite plus.

Don't have to tell me that. I was about to buy a Kubota M7060 cab back in December, then January first it went from $66,000 to $72,000 and it has had ZERO changes since 2013. So I walked away.

Any known issues to look out for on these?

If it's anything like the 7700/7710,it's bullet proof. My neighbor/best friend runs those fords. They have been very dependable, and use very little fuel.Compared to a new one,I'd buy that one long before a new
one.Because that is as close to a new one as you are going to get.For about one third the cost.IMHO,that will outlast a current new one,and you wont be sorry.

You asked about an offer. I think I'd offer 24,000. But I'd pay full price if thats what it took to get it bought. Dont let this one get away.Buy it now, before someone else grabs it. Those(low hour/good condition) tractors from the 80s are rapidly going up in value because new is so expencive. Plus, with all the computers,DEF and other BS,no one but a dealer can work on them anymore.

Looks like its really well looked after and very low hours ,
i wouldnt be scared of it at that price or whatever less
you could get it for.

Those are some really good old tractors. Never heard anything bad about them. Hours seem way
too low, but??

If those hours can be confirmed then that tractor would be called an ''outlier''. Price would not be the same, in most cases, as one with more normal hours on it.

I might add, our neighbors have a 5610 that has way over 10000 hours on it. No serious problems that I know of.

I saw a 5610 at an auction a couple years
ago that looked just as good and I think
had around 1,700 hours. I believe it
brought somewhere in the mid 30's. All the
equipment there looked really nice. I
always thought that was the best looking
tractor Ford ever made. Unfortunately my
pockets weren't deep enough to bring it
home. If that's what will work for you I
would run not walk to that dealer before
someone else gets it. Frankly if it was
close enough to me I might try to beat you
to it.

I look at the wear on the pedals, attempt to determine if rubber is OEM....used but tread not worn over 50% for that many hours on the proof meter, and drawbar slot wear.....doubt much 3 pt wear on that sized tractor. Other thing is AC freon 134A or Freon 12 which is extinct as far as I know.

(quoted from post at 12:12:06 08/27/23) Is that in cad$? I bought a new M7060 last November, cab, loader with 3rd function and 3 remotes on back. $60,000

Yes Willow Lane, the prices I quoted are in Canadian.

Very nice looking tractor, has the 8x4 synchronized transmission, how many remotes does it have, I would want a minimum of 2, I see it has the option engine mount hydraulic pump for increased hydraulic flow

Is that a non AC tractor, I don t see an AC compressor on the left side like mine has

That one

Non AC lowers the value and is a deal killer in my area
