Way OT. Shop Vac that doesn't scream?

I have a small shop vac that I use on the cars if I am not going to the car wash any time soon.
It's had a rough life but the problem I have with it is the noise level.
It gets louder as we go along presumably from wear and misuse.
Can anyone suggest a shop vac that's not terribly loud?
Thanks in advance.

I have a Shop-Vac QSP that isn't loud at all but it doesn't have as much suction as my old screaming Craftsman had. My favs are old Kirbys bought at garage sales and adapted for shop use. The motors on those things are brutes compared to consumer level shop vacuums. I have one hooked to a cyclone separator in wood shop, another on cart with cyclone used for cars and general cleaning around shop. Only time I use the QSP is for chores outside shop for ease of portability and for water pick up.

I have a Rigid. It's noisy but not nearly as noisy as the Shop Vac brand vacuum that it replaced and has twice the suction. After getting the Rigid, I realized what a dog that Shop Vac was. The Shop Vac screamed like a banshee and the suction was almost nonexistent compared to the Rigid.

I open all doors and use my leaf blower.
DEWALT 20V MAX* XR Leaf Blower, Cordless, Handheld, 125-MPH, 450-CFM.

What it doesn't get, I blow out the next time.
Bending over to use a shop vac is a back killer.

I use a leaf blower to clean the pole barn floor .

They are purposely made to be loud, because buyers are convinced that the loudest ones suck the hardest. Marketing.

believe that. I keep my 6.5 HP Craftsman right next to the ear plugs.

My vote is for the Rigid. I had a shop Vac previously. Did some research and most said the Rigid is the most quiet. That was about 10 yrs ago. Others may have improved.
