OT: Cat smell

As a kid we used to use this enzyme based stuff called abolish. An internet search shows it has limited availability--retail anyway (maybe commercial use still available?). Worked on everything from that dead animal smell to manure. I had to add some to my bath water on a couple of occasions! I'll spare you the details why.

Chlorine-free bleach/hydrogen peroxide also works. I am not sure if it will damage the carpet and upholstery though.

Sorry to hear about the mess. Cat smell is right there next to skunk for me. No thank you.

Get a squirt bottle ,fill and add a spoonful of baking soda. Shake well and spray seats, carpet, door panels ...wipe off the excess.

Go to your vet and see if they have Skunk Away spray. It works.

I had that happen. The only thing that i found to work was an entire gallon of Vinegar soaked the entire cushion let it sit overnight, and then rinsed with a lot of water the next day.

Pooph spray ads claim it will get rid of any smell... even skunk.
But at nearly $25 for a spray bottle... have not bought any.

Simple Green makes a pet odor product. Works for me. We have 4 cats.
