Started cutting hay this weekend

Knocked down 30 acres here in southwestern Wisconsin. Wifey and kids hate this time of year. The only time I expect them to drive tractor. 14 year old boy likes to, but 17 year old daughter could live a long happy life having never sat on tractor again.

I have about 10 more acres of grassy stuff, but I may wait a week or so.

Looks like some really good quality hay.
Hope you get it in the bale without
problems.

If I put some hay down that looked like
that, the weather man would certainly throw
a chance of rain in on me.

Another week will give you more bales but it is always good to get a jump on it early as you are, because there will certainly be rainy weather ahead holding you up.

before neighbor Le Roy passed away I knew if he mowed hay was almost sure to rain.
One day Mrs 730 asked why are you in the house I thought you were going to mow hay I said Le Roy is mowing hay all the neighbors know if Le Roy was mowing hay put mower back in shed as it would rain on hay at least once before hay would dry.
