Massey Ferguson 65 GB176 vs. G176?

I'm trying to find a valve cover gasket for Massey Ferguson 65 and our engine is GB176 gas engine. So far I've only found valve covers for G176, but GB176 is not listed. this is a tractor purchased new in the US. I've talked to Yesterday's tractors and steiner - and no one can tell me if the valve cover gasket for G176 will fit GB176. (Allthough someone at Steiner's suggested GB means great britain. Our tractor was purchased new in 1958 in the USA, so I'm doubtful we have a British engine?)

Has anyone else encountered this issue & how do I find a valve gasket cover that fits GB176?

Thanks!

Could you send them a picture of the valve cover? If it looks to be the same shape good chance it will
fit.

I found this information. The tractors were made in both GB and US. The way I read this, only diesel
engines were made in GB, US had both gas and diesel.
MF Info

There is fourth engine the MF 65 used thats not listed. The late tractors used the Perkins AD4.203 direct injected diesel. The other two Perkins are indirect injected engines.

Aha! I found on eBay a high quality reprint of an original Continental service manual for G-series engines that has a picture of the 1st page. It says GB176 engines were high-compression for propane, AND were also offered as a high-altitude gasoline engine option. Valve cover gasket should be the same as a standard G176.
