It definitely is an Earthmaster model C with the Continental N-62 4 cylinder 62 CID gasoline engine developing ~ 15 Bhp. Was not tested at Nebraska testing grounds. 3 speed transaxle and the engine runs normally at 1800 rpm. The throttle/governor had settings of 3 different rpms for different jobs- 1,800,2,000 and 2,200 rpms. Electric starter, generator and battery and lights were standard equpiment with live hydrualics standard after 1949. The hydraulic pump could be disengaged when not needed by moving 2 pins in the coupling. A belt pulley was also optional. Could be had in high crop and extra high clearance models in both 1 and 2 row configuration. Std rear tires on model C were 9x24 on rear and 4x15 on front optional rears were 10x24. This tractor looks to have a full set of wheel weights. The sickle bar mower looks to be possibly for it also, the paint color is right.
The orange color of this one looks to be that of the Burbank, Calif. produced tractors. from Aerco, The North Carolina tractors were a brighter red and had yellow and sometimes green wheels and seats.
I have 2 of these myself. Gene Davis Tennille, Ga.
