all it would take is someone switching lanes and a few hard wiggles , , It would easily unload ..To be honest the mower is probably more valuable than the car . One might wonder why someone does such a thing ...? Just walk a mile in their shoes

(quoted from post at 15:29:44 03/28/22) It could have gotten up there many ways. The question is how is it going to get down?

The plywood makes it easy to get the forklift under it. Just a little paint scratching.

He could pull under a tree. Use a chain hoist to lift it off the car and pull the car away. Or get 4 strong men and another person to hold their beers.

I wish I could have take a picture of a deer and a hog carcasses that cruised past me on the interstate tied to the trunk luggage carrier of a Cadillac. Both heads were facing the traffic behind the car. Do what you gadda do I guess!

Today a really nice old Chevy ElCamino passed us on the interstate, it had a Triumph motorcycle on a hitch hauler rack. That bike weighs about 370 pounds, I had one for 25 years.

Many states require the animal to be at least partly visable while being transported. One of my many deer hunters shot a deer and I offered to put it in the bed of my pickup to get it out of the woods and up next to his Ford Taurus wagon that was parked in my driveway. We each grabbed the deer's legs and swung it from my pickup and plopped it down on the roof rack of his wagon not realizing that all of the animal's remaining blood had pooled up in the open body cavity. We didn't spill a drop until it hit the roof rack of his car and went running down both sides of the car. Pretty funny. You mention a Cadillac. I remember reading about a sheep rancher out west that bought Rolls Royce cars because they were the last car to have fenders that he could through dead sheep on.

Yet 16 tons of round bales on a 7 ton gooseneck being towed by a half ton truck is perfectly okay.

Git-R-Done, but only if it's you because you're smart and they're stupid.

Oh, and two healthy average men could lift that mower off that car with no problem. That's probably how it got up there.

It is basically a riding lawnmower without the mower deck. NOT all that heavy. 2 men in good shape could pick it up and place it on the trunk.
