Hello all, I was wondering if any of you have hear of a Love Tructor. My Grandpa is always talking about when growing up on the Farm in MI that the only brand new tractors his dad ever bought was a Grand Haven Cultivating tractor, (which he absolutely hated lol, he would always find a tree to go take a nap under when it came time to run it) and a Love Tructor. I actually found the guy that purchased the Family farm but he isnt letting go of the tractor. My Grandpa is getting up there in age and I would like to get a Love Tructor before he goes to meet the big guy and to see the pure joy on his face when he sees it. any help would be great

here is a gas engine mag article on them

I recall spotting a Love tractor at the Pageant of Steam (Canandaigua NY) some years ago.

It looked like a Friday tractor which was also at the Pageant. Only the Love had an odd, rounded sheet metal grill.

As I recall both tractors used Jeep 4 cyl flathead engines and transmissions (3 speed main + two speed aux). And full floating rear axles - perhaps from Ford??

Unfortunately this was before I got into digital photography and LONG before smartphones. So I have no photos...

and here is a little more info on them

Here is a Love tractor (4 wheels) one model was built around a Willys CJ-2A engine, most models were made using Ford 3ton truck drivelines.
The Love Tructor was an early three wheeled version.
