I am not taking sides here one way or another but this post has to do with the contents of the 13 Rules. I went through the list slowly, recalling events in my personal life and I can relate to every one of his rules.....well thought out if you ask me.

The one that especially stands out is #1. I don't do well during the night when something is pending because I am at a point where I have to wait till morning to be able to do anything about it.....wondering what it will require to accomplish and can I get it done.

I have resolved myself to just set it aside, live through my old age 3 times a night having to get up, finding something else to do to keep my mind occupied, like post things like this on the YT Forums, till I am ready to go back to bed and worry about it in the morning when I can do something about it.

You ever have that problem?

Being a superb procrastinator, I just go back to sleep... and figure I can worry about it tomorrow. LOL

#1 can be a problem. When I was on the job I frequently had to deal with high profile high pressure issues and my instinct was to get them resolved and move on. I hated having to wait till the next day. Now it's more of a case of figuring out what needs to be done and staying awake all night so I don't forget what to do.

On the don't forget thing, sometimes I find myself going into a room (for example) and having to stop and search my mental data bank to find the reason why I was standing there. Oh well, just going to get worse.

Thats getting to be the case since I can't solve anything then and worrying about it does nothing to fix it.
