Bales some small squares

I made one load of small bales of alfalfa and grass hay yesterday. Have a few more loads for Monday. Baling with my 2510 diesel and 24T baler. Was a beautiful day. Tom

I baled a lot of small squares with a setup like that, but behind a JD R, I liked the hand clutch for baling. Once in awhile I would miss the wagon going around a corner, I could just pop the clutch back and jump off and put the bale on top of the next one. Our baler had the hydraulic aiming option, but I still missed sometimes.

Thanks for the memories.
I was the youngest boy, so I drove the tractor that powered our JD baler. Brothers were on the wagon stacking. I remember at the end of the day, I had a bale of hay in each nostril and another bale stuck to my body.
You don't seem to be making dust.

Nice set up. You look nice and cool under that roof. I also baled grass/alfalfa yesterday with the 14T behind the M.
