I have a 530 JD tractor that I want to use with a stump grinder.
The grinder has 2 cyl's. I hooked everything up and when I tried to move the cyls the remote cyl valve started to make a squealing noise. I had the valve gone through and tested and it was ok. It mainly makes the noise when I try to just feather the control, make the cyl move slowly. When I engage the lever fully it makes less noise. This is a restored very low hour tractor. I did replace the scv outlets. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Thank you
I have a 24x1.5 and a 12x1 up and down,side to side.
I have the hoses going into an electronic doubler so I have 2 remotes. It makes the squealing noise even if I plug the hoses directly to scv.

When the hydraulics are set for two way hydraulics meaning pressure both ways it will squeal when you feather the lever between wide open flow and neutral. One of the things I do not like about two cylinder Deere hydraulics. Then you have the hydraulic valve set for single acting it will not squeal when you feather.

Not sure about the valve on the stump grinder?
Are you referring to the couplers? The hoses go from the cyl's to the tractor hyd, then controlled by the hyd lever on the tractor.
Both the male and female couplers are new. The hyd on the tractor are adjusted for double acting cyl's.
