After testing different pressures and speed I'm ready to spray driveway.
A mist comes in contact with the aluminum

Then drips off. Let you know in a week or two how it works.

According to my calculations, at 11 miles per hour you will achieve lift off.

At 88 mph I can go back to the future and
see a younger handsome guy....my son when
he was born.

(quoted from post at 09:25:15 06/12/21) Wow. Now see i thought it was ground
effect to keep traction on the sprayer.

Just need a spoiler on the front to keep the front end down and a wheelie bar on the back of the tractor and it will win a few races. lol (just having fun George)

Why that shield over the boom?

I've worked with a lot of sprayers from that size to field sprayers and I've never seen that before.

You don't need that boom so high. Old baler belts are most often used up here for shielding. Put about 10 inch strip ahead of the boom hanging down, and wrap around the ends toward the back. Keeping the wind from blowin your spray away is the goal.

While I agree your MOD will help with drift and overspray. I also have to ask why you have the boom so high. I assume its to allow clearance for some obstacle in your yard? I would think if the sprayer is for driveway use only, setting the boom 6-12 inches off the ground would accomplish the same thing.

Not sure why the spray bar is so high , this is my 25 gal sprayer I got from craigslist for 40.00 it will spray 10ft wide

I can adjust spray bar. After many adjustments, I used water and tested spray pattern on pole barn floor.
This height gave me the results I wanted.

If the nozzles are 20 inches apart 20 inches high is the proper setting for coverage and difrt per Teejet's pattern for an 80 degree nozzle.

Grizz, what kind of nozzles and how many are you using to get 10 feet wide? Looks like you are using the same pump that comes with it just like mine. Thanks.
