I visited the good people at the east Moline hydraulic cylinder works today. They are one of two plants that make all the cylinders for Deere. We will be doing a project there. It is so neat to visit where things are built, that is one of the things I like about my job.

I've toured two hydraulic cylinder factories, Prince and Rosenboom. Pretty interesting processes. I especially enjoyed watching the friction welding - I had never seen that process being done before.
