Just wondering

i think the correct police kept harassing him and he got fed up and left. cant blame him. too bad, i really enjoyed his posts.

I miss his adventures too. I believe you are correct as for the reason he left ,but I still can't help but wonder if one of his "death machines" caught up to him ?

I also noticed that the tax man and farmer from MI (Dave) has not posted in a long time. I can't understand why if you can't say something good or nice you don't just say nothing. There are some post that I shake my head at but sure would not tear them up about it. If you have never made mistakes you sure haven't done much. We have lost lots of knowledge from this forum by bad attitudes and nasty replies. Tom

He got a little razzing for never posting anything tractor related. It had ZERO to do with Kim.

your Death Machine crack and the like is what got to him. I have known him for over 25 years would be the last to do something really silly. Some things might look dangerous but used correctly are fine. I think he just got tired of stupid Barney type pictures and the like.

i always wanted to meet george, he seemed like a lot of fun. ifthis corona thing ever blows over, i d like to meet up a bunch of you hoosier guys for lunch, we did that here in illinois, it was a great bunch of fellas... gals too.

George brought a lot of it on himself. He would ask questions like do you think I should do this or that. Or should I buy this or that and get a lot of suckers to take the bait and get a bunch of well thought out replies.
WHEN he had already made the purchase or made up his mind. Just a big joke to him.
His thin skin got the best of him.

If by really silly you mean trying to find a safer way to pull a loaded tandem axle dump trailer up a grass hill with a Farmall C because his first attempt almost got him killed or hauling said trailer down the road without the ball coupled to his truck or hanging a running rotary mower from chains on a loader bucket, I disagree. He brought it upon him self when he got mad at people who told him some of his ideas where just plain stupid.

George rarely wanted help or advice, he wanted you to give yours so he could tell you that you were wrong and how he was smarter, thriftier, handier. He also liked kicking folks in the shin, but he couldn't handle getting kicked back.
