install graffle attachment on john deere 310a

Hughey welcome to YT. First of all if you meant to reply to your post about the using electric hydraulic for your
grapple attachment you should click the ...Reply... button within the post. As you can see now your Posted topic
is spread into two different locations. I am trying to understand why you would want to complicate your system
by adding an electric pump? I am placing a link here to your first post a couple days ago on this. In that post TX
Jim directed you to location you can pull hydraulic pressure out of the stock system to operate an added
grapple. Are you unclear of the location of that valve? If so maybe Jim can help you out with that. All I know is
that the JD closed center system has plenty of flow to operate another function.

Here is a valve you could use to operate your grapple connecting it in as Jim showed you. Maybe that is more money than you are looking to spend. You may be able to find a used valve cheaper, but remember it needs to be closed center. The valve in the link may need oring boss fittings ...ORB...but Surplus Center likely has what you need for that as well. In the link if you scroll down to the bottom and click ..about us.. then ..contact us.. all the information you need to contact them is there. I would highly recommend you look into getting your hydraulic hose from them as well. Very cost effective even with shipping and made in the USA. For the Deere you will need the 4000 psi spec hose.
Closed center valve

Due to the fact that according to Tractordata a JD 310A has hyd pump flow of 28 GPM the valve you posted a link of with 45 GPM would not be a good choice because it would be very difficult to feather a hyd cylinder utilizing that high flow valve.

Jim, I did notice that the valve was a high GPM and didn?t really think about the point of the feathering. I was
surprised when I was searching the Surplus Center site and limited the valve search to only open center valves
this valve and a log splitter valve are what showed. I didn?t chose the log splitter valve because it is probably
detented for the return stroke. Which thinking about it may not be terrible for a grapple to detent on the open
stroke. I should have maybe did a general web valve search but I wanted to make the poster aware of the
economical pricing of hydraulic hose from Surplus Center. Thanks for stating your point, well taken. I will attach a link to the log splitter valve and this time I will use the wording....as an example see the attached.
Another valve option
