I've been searching for half an hour for a site that gives you the precipitation amounts for the last 24 hours.
Bunch of dead ends and links to download an app. I don't want an app.
Is there a simple to navigate website where you can find this info by zip code?
Thanks

I was all over that site before I posted and just went there again.
I can Not find what I am looking for.
Maybe you can help with a link?
I'd like to find the amount of rain they have had in Aitkin, MN zip code 56431 in the past day.
Thanks

I?ve been up north of Aitkin, about 15 miles, since noon on Friday. As of 6:50 am Sunday, not one drop of rain has fallen. I?m not sure what?s fallen in Aitkin and south, friend said it was sprinkling by Onamia off and on yesterday. Hope that helps.

Although the site has made many changes, weather underground uses many personal weather stations which give local recorded data. It's not what the site used to be, but it still has personal weather stations linked.

Thank you.
You're better than the national weather service.
I was going to title my post: Hey M Nut, any rain up there?. Cause I knew you were up thata way. But changed it.
Was up there yesterday till about 1 pm.
Rain started in Onamia and continued all the way home. Still raining here. About 1" predicted.
Wanted to know if you were getting some up there.
Dry there - got seed in the ground and need some moisture.

I'm the best part of an hour SE of Aitkin, but my gage says 4/10" right now. Looks like an all day rain for today. Just about what we needed.

No problem :) I actually live on NE corner of Mille Lacs, near Malmo. But I?ve been up at a friends hunting land doing some maintenance on trails. It is very dry for this time of year. Places I would normally need waders I can drive right through with atv.

Under the month tab. Click on it and then click on the tabulated icon.

Don,t know where to find it but we haven't had less than a quarter inch since Easter, but last night we must have gotten it all. Water standing and running everywhere. Just ran out in the rain to check the gauge, right at 3 inches and raining. Leave it to a farmer to complain about too much when we haven't had any all spring. I'm bad. Jim

Friend from Marshall area said he had an inch and he heard by Mankato they had 4 inches yesterday and through the night.

Problem is (if you did find a site) that precipitation can vary by a tremendous amount from where you are to just a few miles away. Happens up here all the time, one guy gets a downpour and someone else close by got hardly anything. How regional a person can expect that reporting to be is a good question in itself.

Here at 50076 Iowa we got a much needed rain fall of 1" last night. My corn/soybeans have been put in 5/8/20, so they will be coming up good soon.
