Freeing up frozen toplink

I have a John Deere tip link off of a 4430 that is froze up. Will heating the cast hurt it? Was thinking of heating and maybe trying candle wax trick. I ve had it soaking in diesel somewhat, but so far very little movement.

The candle wax trick is the perfect solution. It doesn't have to be particularly hot, just warm enough to melt the wax. Be prepared for the diesel to catch

My lift links were frozen solid I heated the cast bright right
then worked it back and forth with a big pipe wrench until they
turned freely

Can?t remember if I saw it on here or on another Ag
forum I go on sometimes, but I have seen it
suggested to soak it in water a week. They say the
fine dust get in them and locks them up some how. I
don?t know how it would work on yours since it has
been soaked in diesel. If there is dirt in the threads
and it is soaked with the diesel the water may not
soak past it.
