Keeping Busy

Like most everyone I have a little more time for projects right now. I have three that are top priority. My Arctic cat snowmobile had a major problem a year ago, and after getting back to it in Nov. health problems brought it to a stop in Mid Dec until Mid Feb. It is now done except for a couple minor parts and an adjustment.

I started on my tedder two years ago after a seal went out. I started the rebuild by going through the main center section of my parts unit, then a week and a half ago I started in tearing down the one with the leak to take the good parts off.

The rebuilt center section ahead of the forklift:

Some paint for many of the parts. Since it is red I added hardener. Parts for it came Saturday so it is up for completion today or tomorrow.

Yesterday I worked on a few small jobs and then cleaned my work bench. It is the cleanest now since when I installed it in late '05.

This was the big project a year ago. I got it on the road last August but due to a problem with the clutch release bearing I had to tear back into it.

I ordered parts for it Friday. They should be in this coming Friday.
I knocked out some major outdoor projects on Thursday and Saturday.

Amen brother, lot of items on the list here.
Welding project on the bush hog.
Went thru the generator making sure it runs ok.
Sharpened all the mower blades, oil changes, greasing.

Just put up a sign at the back door...

Good luck to every one. jac

Hey!!! That looks like my welder and helmet, I better go check and see if they are still there. lol

Did you ever get enough snow this year for snowmobiling?? never even started mine up as any snow was really soft and wet in NW Ma.

We didn't have enough in southern NH and the groomer of the club that I belong to here at home never went out. I usually ride in northern ME with some friends but hip surgery in early January followed a week later by dying of a heart problem, sidelined me the rest of the season. But I am ready now for next year. Where do you usually ride?

I have a place in Hancock Ma, NW corner of the state--my club has quite a few trails they maintain and I have cleared and leveled quite a few of them with my dozer and tractor--so i ride locally in the areas,Mt Greylock and the Pittsfield area
I cut out about 2 miles of trail on my property so atv ride them off season
2 of my sleds,Polaris, came from New Hampshire as a guy was buying and reselling them from a rental dealer up there
Think Snow!!!
