Fuel filter for my Mitsu

I am looking for a good diesel fuel filter/strainer for my 4 cylinder 50hp Mitsubishi D4000 tracor. It is a grey market tractor and the factory filter is being discarded. I want a good filter between the fuel tank
and the fuel pump. I would like a fuel cut-off on the filter. My injectionr rebuild tech suggested I treat my fuel and buy a 2mic filter.

I looked at YT and they are asking for a model number and brand. What do you guys suggest?

Also I put a new selinoid on my starter. I had it checked and the rebuild place said it is solid. I cleaned it up and painted it. The started was not attached to the tractor when I bought it. I have a question about wiring my new selinoid has two terminal posts. one of the posts is attached to the starter internally. There is a small wire that attaches to the slide on connection and there is another small wire that attaches to one of the two posts on the selinoid. Which post does it attach to?? Therre is not a manual available fof this tractor.

Can't help with the filter question, but someone will have a favorite they like.

Just be sure it will fit and mount easily, there are replacement elements locally available at a reasonable cost, and it meets the 50HP and 2 micron requirements.

As for the starter wiring, the small wire with the 1/4" female plug will plug onto the 1/4" spade terminal.

The small wire with the large round terminal will go on the large post, same post the battery cable goes on.

I have a filter from a GMC S15 Diesel truck. It was easy to mount, has two threaded holes near the top of head, has a hand pump for priming built into head, has spin on filter.
