Its a Hart Parr for sure , not sure the model but my friend has one along with tons of parts of a couple of others he scraped.

Hart-Parr,or Case crossmotor? Can you get a pic of the front, rear or both. The radiator should have the name cast onto the top tank.

Sorry billy I didn?t understand what you were asking for. Yes it?s a mid mount engine that the head faces back towards the operator!

Thats ok. I am an idiot when it comes to tractors. I thought at first the engine was missing. So I looked it up and found out the engine is in the middle of the tractor.I have no idea what year or model it is.That is why I come hear. So I can learn from people that know.

At some point in the 1920's a neighbor of ours purchased a new Hart-Parr from Charles City Iowa USA....

The Tractor arrived by rail in North Western Alberta Canada......Tractor was then driven to the location where it has been ever since new...

I purchased the land and Machinery in 1975....Tractor has been inside ever since the summer of 1976....

We backed this Tractor in and shut her off....

Mag still has spark...engine has lots of compression..........

JDD ..... when I see a tractor like that I hope that nobody ever restores it cosmetically (eg. paint, decals, etc). Get it running good, yes for sure if they want, but leave it in its work clothes in my opinion, otherwise it loses much of what it has to offer as is.

My grand father would have built that tractor, as he worked for Hart Parr during that time.

Let me know if you want to sell it.

Just a coincidence, but The TV show "Classic Tractor Fever" on RFDTV featured a tractor just like that one. A family in Texas has a Hart Par 18-36 that they bought new and have kept it running to this day. You should be able to Google Classic Tractor Fever and find the episode.
