I started one of my winter projects today.
My wife said she wasn't going to mow anymore this fall so I dropped the deck out from under our zero turn mower and cleaned it up with my power washer.
There's some surface rust on the under side, so I think I'll strip all the hardware, spindles, idlers, etc. off of it, have it sand blasted, and start over with a good coat of paint and a couple of coats of clear coat. If the clear cures over winter maybe there won't be as many clippings stick as there have been.
I have all new bearings for the spindles so I may as well put them in, and a new belt, while I'm putting it back together.
