Kingdom gets some fence

Worked on the new fence around the cattle yard this weekend. Even had some help from my favorite youngest son Nick on Saturday.

Any place seen from the front will be 2x6 boards, even the gates will be 2x6 and painted white of course.

This gate will be steel.

Corners are likes this.

I'm hoping to Finnish the wood posts and get the steel in next weekend before it freezes. Corn is about ready to come out too. At least no more rain in the forecast for a while. Sure do wish those peasants that are supposed to come with a kingdom would show up, lots of projects to get done and I'm running out of time.

Nice! Don?t know how many miles of 4 rail wood and post fences I?ve painted white over 30 years at thouoroughbred 🏇🏾farms! I think I like the never climb a little better now! White barns black trim, white fence was one farms colors, white barns blue trim, white fence was the other farms colors. Gee maybe those days weren?t so bad!!

Jon, we got a hole digger just like that here.
It needs a point and cutting blades.

Not complaining at all, middle son came home for a day. Got lots of outside jobs done that I hadn't done AND two crocks of cabbage for sauerkraut shredded and packed. Let winter come.

A big asset for you would be a walk behind weed eater,fencing is a whole lot easier on basically bare ground.
