Found another use for my log arch.i needed to get a twenty foot culvert back in my woods so I could get across a creek to gain access to a wooded area I want to get my tractors into.

one of the things I enjoy about these forums is seeing what people in other regions of this country use for various projects and farming

You used to see abandoned full sized arches out in the woods from when they first built the logging roads. They are probably hidden by trees now.

Up in Boonville,NY every summer they have the woodsmans expo. Takes up the entire fairgrounds. There was one company with all different sizes of those. They had a cute little one made for a really big ATV. ONLY around $350.oo but I wanted one. Well worth going. All kinds of neat equipment.

Now you did it. Go on Utube and look up Jeff's collie. They drove a Ford. Now the bad guys drove black Buick. And then there is Lassie.
Twister.

Never had much luck putting culverts around here . Either the beavers would plug them or they would plug on there own with debree during gully washers . A real pain to unplug as you are in the middle of a pond at that time . You wind up having to dig them out with a loader when you are surrounded by water them get the neighbor to pull out the loader.
The best way is to install low level crossings-- during a dry time dig it down a bit and have rock hauled in . This allows you to drive trough the creek when the water starts flowing with out sinking.
