Master shut off switch UPDATE

I posted the topic on my new master shut off switch.It would allow a very light current through when off..I took the switch back and got another brand new one..problem solved faulty new switch now when in off position completely dead!!!Turned on fires right up.

You do run into that now and then with almost right parts. Most of them are fine and then you get a bunch of duds. Good you found it.

so you put a bandaid on it, the actual current draw is still there?

It is on my Demonstrator. That knife switch on the negative post and a float charger keeps the battery real happy. Someday I might get
a round "tuit". . .

Makes no difference to me on a 56 year old tractor when the key is off and the master is off system is dead no current anywhere and battery stays full.

just saying... but it could be as simple as the regulator stuck. is charging system working ?
