I had a plan to finish splitting firewood for this season today. Went out to start my 431T and it would not start. The RM injection pump leaks out of throttle shaft so I shut off fuel at tank when it sets. It sat too long and lost prime, and had to give the battery a boost with my 831C. The boost was enough for it to fire up. I got everything up to the landing and set up to split the rest of the blocks that I had.Things went well for about an hour but then the splitter would not push the blocks thru the wedge any longer. The cylinder went back and forth and the elevator ran with no problems. After considerable investigation I found that the external teeth on the TB Woods sleeve coupler driving the pump had stripped and would not drive pump under heavy load. I ended up bringing things home with only a 1/4 load of wood. So much for finishing up!! I guess I shouldn't complain, this is the only break down other than a blown out tire on a trailer that I have had in the last 5 years.I got home and got on the computer and the only TB woods couplers I could find were on the Grainger site, but there were many-many different ones. I will have to remove it and see if I can find a part number to get a new sleeve ordered.--------------Loren
