Seeing new places

Taking a road trip:Texas,New Mexico,Colorado,Wyoming,South Dakota and in Nebraska now.will
start heading back to Louisiana tomorrow.Beautiful scenery.saw a lot of antelope,buffalo,mule
deer,elk and even saw 3 moose. Being a Cajun, there?s not much we don?t eat.That being said;
are prairie dogs edible? Just curious

Like other rodents (squirrel; nutria rat) prairie dogs are edible.
Just might not be a taste many crave.
