West Liberty Ohio labor day weekend

Thanks for the vid! Looks like it was a good time. I'm sold on the Happy Farmer tractor right in the beginning. Neat-o!

How much of a pain in the bumper is it to upload videos to youtube? Been thinking about doing it, just don't know what all goes into it & if it takes forever to upload or not.

Thanks,
Mike

Happy Farmer. Built a couple places and last claimed La Crosse as home. I believe had a Gile engine. Shared some of the engineering with the Bull tractor (now Toro) as some personnel worked for both outfits at different times. Saying goes the farmer was happy twice with a Happy Farmer tractor. Once when he bought it and again when he sold it.

Next door neighbor had a 1919 that he used for years, retired it sometime early to mid 40's. Was parked when I got old enough to know about it. Used to put it in gear with 3-12" plows in furrow and turned it loos on quaretr milr fields. Would then get on his 41 B John Deere with the disk and beat it to other end of field where he would turn the Happy around and repeat. Think he retired it a couple of years before he got a late 2 stick A Deere. I do know he took the 3rd bottom off the happy plow and used it as a 2 bottom behind the B JD for a while. Never heard of any complaints about the Happy. And that Happy from the show is located close to me. Orignal owner.

If you look close you will see me by the dyno at 4 & 7 something , blue cap on. First year in 20 something I have not worked that show. Pictures taken on saturday. And there is no admission to show or grounds. The Park is the city park and owned by the Lions Club of West Liberty, Ohio. And if you look close at the John Deere H with the wide front you will never see anouther one like it, Row crop tractor turned into a standard tread tractor. And he has won some slow races with it. Other friends in pictures and tractors friends own. Mine is not curently running or it was supposed to be there.

Absent minded farmer,,, putting videos on YouTube is fairly easy. Depending on your internet speed it may take several minutes to upload. We put a bunch on there, easiest way to share videos with my brother in Australia!
