SV: A few years ago I posted a picture of a JD 4450 that I had just brought home. I had unchained it and had the hydraulic dove tail on the ground. Then I had the thought that I should take a picture of it to post. There were several fellows posted giving me heck for hauling a tractor without chaining it down. LOL Yep I drove the trailer down the road dragging the tail along. LOL Fools

I actually found the picture.

Here is a real one but on a smaller scale. I took the picture in the parking lot of a local eatery, the guy driving was inside getting a meal with his two small kids. There is not a chain, rope, strap or piece of string holding it on, he also put the loader bucket on top of the front rail of the trailer so as not to impede rapid relocation into the back of the pickup during a quick stop.

That?s a funny story JD! Things like that only exposes ones that probably wish they kept their comments to themselves once they understand the reality of the situation. Too many people quickly assume everyone else is lacking intelligence and common sense then thrive on putting others down any chance they get.

SV, I hope that you called the utility company and they erected some new poles to hold those wires up before you drove off!

That's what I was going to say. It's standing still, maybe they simply haven't chained it down yet.

Spare parts I don?t know how anyone dares do that
if it comes off and kills someone It would be hard to
live with that

Jd I did see the custom corn chopping crew drag a semi trailer down the road with the tail down I tried to ketch the guy but one of the other guys on the crew got him stopped . That?s a nice 4450

(quoted from post at 10:33:24 08/08/19) Does this meet the requirements for length of Cheater for tightening the binders

For boomers yes. For the screw type, if you keep them on a rack on the back of a road tractor in the winter you need twice as much.
