I?m new here but saw there seemed to be some Jeep f-head gurus on the site.
I?m trying to retrofit umbrella valve seals but it seems the intake valve spring retainer is tapered to fit Over the top of the guide. I need to know how far an intake valve drops when fully open. If this umbrella seal won?t work would it be added protection to slide an o-ring down over the valve before the retainer?
I thought I posted this last night but I?m not seeing it on the board so forgive me if this is a double post.
