Anybody know how the Rantoul show grounds are doing?

Just curious if folks were able to get the corn planted at the Half Century of Progress show grounds? Are they thinking it will be ready to go by late August? I'd like to attend again this year but probably won't invest the 20 hour round trip drive if there won't be the field demonstrations.

I don?t know about the show grounds exactly but I have a buddy that farms just south of there around Champaign that has steadily been managing to get field work done.

I read that they got the corn planted on the Rantoul grounds.

According to their Facebook page, everything is in the ground and the corn is up.

I should really try to attend that. I was born at the base hospital back when dad was assigned to Rantoul AFB.
