I finally got to try my JD 4250 with Case-IH 145 Roll-Over Plow yesterday.
1. I am having some issues with the roll-over function. See my separate post,
2. Front bottom is taking about a 16" cut. I need to widen the tractor tires, manual says 32, I have them at 27" center to inside of tire. The 27" works well with my JD 4200.
3. Bottoms 2 and 3 are cutting about 20". It is an 18" plow so I don't understand that. Any comment?
4. As is, the draft is centered well on the tractor. 1.4" to the sway blocks on each side. Maybe it will change when I move the tires out.
5. Plowed nice. It is a heavy plow. Plowed about 9" deep.6. Ya, those are JD coulters on the back. I made the bracket. I'll paint the bracket Red and the Coulters Black when I am happy with the setup.
Comments Please.
