Big decision

I mowed until noon today. I had to replace the water heater in my house. Water heaters had a 6 year warranty, or a 9 year warranty. I bought the 6 year warranty, and saved around 75.00. It should go to at least 10 years. I will be 87 in 10 years. With my family's history by then it will be someone else's problem. My old water heater lasted 25 years. It didn't leak the controller stopped working. Picked up some gas on the way home. Stan

Now what will happen is it will go out one day after the warranty expires and then the day after you replace it with a new one you'll fall, break a hip and wind up in assisted living for life........

A plumber told me all the heaters are the same regardless of warranty. A 6 year is a 9 year with different warranty.
