John Deere LX 176

Hello,

I have an LX176 that I'm trying to replace the drive belt. I bought the right part number belt and the new one is white were the old one is black. Also, the PTO clutch won't move. I can't remember, do I need to engage the parking brake? Hate to take this to the dealer but it may go that way. Last time I posted on here i received help and got my B fixed up. Thank you for your time.

there is a great you tube video on how to do this. I have replaced the mower deck on mine several times. I always have to go back to you tube to remind myself of the pattern. It is a lot easier to do if you can hoist the tractor with a front end loader and do the job standing. it is not really easy to do without a clear view of the bottom of the riding mower.
