Farm Truck

Saw this pickup (modified) at a local car lot in Ellenville, NY.
Has a small Onan genset mounted in the rear of the bed.
Finding a parking place could be a problem, looks to me
to be about 25 ft. Long. Don?t know what year model Ford it is.

Indeed that is a sleeper behind the cab, with an RV
air conditioner on top, and a flat plate on top for
something.
Also has the crash bar on front and a winch.
Badge on fender says turbo power stroke Diesel.

If ugly is what they were going for I'd call it a resounding success. Guess it fit whatever need they had. Seems there'd be a ready-made vehicle could do the same job and not look so "home-grown."

Probably used it for towing RV trailers around the country. Used to see them a lot around Elkhart IN and those areas.

Guy did that around here with a dodge, is a truck driver, think they did it on a TV show, but think his is a 2wd 1/2 ton.

Ellenville, Just a jump over the Hudson River for me and I am there. Bout 40 minutes from where I live.

My guess is it is will be sitting in that car lot for a long time to come.

I am sure it gets lots of looks going down the road but not for the right reasons.

Looks like an 03-07 F350 by the headlights and 6.0 Powerstroke style badge on the door.
