Bird feeder?

I did a Google search but couldn't get an answer.
I have about 25# of fescue seed and 30# of ryegrass left over from planting this last spring.
Wife has two bird feeders and I was wondering if birds will eat these seeds?
I know I could just try it but seeds are a distance away.

I wish I was closer, I would like to buy some of the rye from you. Is it the lawn seed type? That is what
they grow up north around our tree farm, so I can probably buy some from the local farmers. It seems to
very popular with the deer, so I want to plant some under the new power line that's crossing our property,
as I can't grow trees there anymore.

Yes they will. I dry Fescue Seed after harvest in some open
sided barns, and have lots of doves until I can get the seed
cleaned. Nathan
