Folks, I learned to be a fan of Lawrence Welk from my Mother.
Years of watching the Lawrence Welk Show on Saturday evenings when I was young turned me into a fan of the Lennon Sisters, and all of them became my first crushes.
Below is a link to my favorite Lennon Sisters recording.
This song was recorded during the period when Dee Dee (Diane), the oldest Lennon Sister, had decided to leave the group to start her family. Correspondingly, there are only three sisters.
FWIW, Dee Dee subsequently returned to the group.
