Fordson hybrid

I bought a Fordson Major that I was told afterwards, is the front half of one tractor and the back half of another, which is probably why the serial numbers are nonexistant. according to the I&T manual, serial nos went from the flywheel flange to the rf engine boss in March 1956.
the headlights are in the same place as Power Majors. not so sure about the back half. it has a difflock and some hydraulics that may be Super Major?
could a difflock come on a Power Major, or would it indicate Super Major?
also, is this a raised PTO?
any help with ID would be appreciated.

You definitely have an early Super Major back end and a raised PTO. As far as the engine number goes, until 1957 the serial/engine number was stamped into the flange behind the starter, after 1957 it was moved to a flat area under number 1 injector. If you look on the cylinder head, between the rocker cover and the manifold and also above the dynamo you will find casting codes cast into those parts. If you post those we can date those parts to within six months of their build date.

Casting codes are cast into all the main castings, in your tractor the ones on the gearbox and rear axle should be something like "N10D" (example only).

so would this be a tractor that once had Super Powers??
the casting code on the engine block is F27X. on the head, H6X.
i had less success finding codes on the rest of the tractor.
the center section has EIADKN
7007F
TI cast into the side behind the clutch linkage. not sure it is a date code.
left hand axle housing looks like B16H.
couldn't find codes on the trans housing or the top cover.
