I saw a sign yesterday. Cleaned it up a little.

jm,
I've been busy and haven't talked to him. It's brrn dry and grass isn't growing. I told him he could use my mower if he needs it. He was planning on having sleeve made. The inside of the sleeve will be slightly smaller than axle. When heated he plans to slide sleeve over axle, cool it and heat fit.

In theory sounds like it should work. In reality he'll most likely need an axle.

He's been busy grinding stumps. I noticed he left me about 12 yards of dirt mixed with stump grindings. I plan to start hauling it to the gravel pit compost pile where it will get blended in with other materials.

sounds like you are staying busy. You have not mentioned Termite going out of business, means you are going to have to baby those thing now,,no more new ones... LOL

Just talked to Roger. He's been busy too. Said he paid $600 to have a new axle installed in his kubota. Also said he bought a tri-axle dump trailer. No wonder he delivered me a huge load of dirt/stump grindings.

My terramite will be loading it tomorrow at the north end and my other terramite will be blending it in the compost pile 20 miles south.

I need a rainy day to service both terramites. The one up north needs the hydraulic oil change, 10 gallons of 10w40 and a filter. My cordless grease gun is a blessing, loads of grease zerks.

I would have liked that axel job. Could have sold him a used one for %75.00 about 2 hours labor.

jm.
Thanks for all your help.
Our Case International dealer also sells kubotas. Roger is very busy with his 75 hp turbo diesel stump grinder. When you don't have the time to repair something, it always nice to have a dealer you can count on.

I'll have to post of pic of his stump grinder. His grinder reminds me of a dog digging in the dirt, throwing dirt between it's hind legs. Nothing slows it down. Other people in stump grinding business have smaller machines. Guess you can say he is the Big Dog.
