Tore some hide off today

Mowing today around some orange trees. Got a little close to a branch and removed some skin on my arm. Didn't have anything to wrap around it. Pickup was about 1/2 mile away. I decided to just finish mowing. It soon stopped bleeding. Took two large pads to cover it, when I got home. I disked this field in the past. I talked the owner in to letting me mow it. It was so much easier than hauling the old crawler and disk to the field. lost 100.00 by not disking, but to me it was worth it. On the way, today I saw I lost a couple disking jobs. I am glad someone else has them. Just a lot of rocks, and steep hills. I almost flipped my tractor last year. I was on the steep part, and ran up on a very large rock on the high side. I was able to turn the tractor to keep from going over. Any body else hurt themselves today? Stan

I came home many days from splicing phone cable with a paper towel taped on with black tape., The cable sheath would cut like a knife. I went home cut a lot of times but never had an on job accident. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I ate a big lunch of Mexican food and my ladyfriend made strawberry shortcake with whipped cream on to. yep, I hurt myself.

Done that too, once cut the tendon in my trigger finger, had to get it stitched. One week before the IHMSA International championships. Didn’t win anything shooting left handed.

I would have bled like a stuck hog for at least an hour.
Any little scrape or cut and I have to put my bandana on it for a long time to stop the bleeding.
Just getting old.

I'm on Plavix these days due to a stent. Every little nick bleeds. I find blood dripping from something I never felt. The docs just love shoveling those pills.

Last Thursday I hit a Deer with Nephew's 2016 Chev pick-up going about 60-65 MPH with his Dad with me. All the the air-bags went off. It is NOT a pleasant experience. I have burns on both hands and right arm along with bruising across my lower chest. I was driving so I was closer to the steering-wheel. His Dad was further away from the passenger side and didn't suffer no injuries. Towing company said the truck is probably totaled.

My dad used to say that he bled like a stuck pig. Seems like I'm getting to be the same. I've hit my hands hard enough to make them bleed even while wearing heavy gloves. The backs of my hands usually have some type of wound or scab in the process of healing.

I use to kid my dad, saying that he couldn't stick his arm between 2 strands of barb wire, 9" apart, without bleeding. Guess what, what comes around, I can't either.

The older I get the easier I bleed. Seems like every year my skin gets thinner and takes less of a lick to break it open. Ain't this getting old fun?

ow that sounds like my kinda "hurt"! :D

I'm on Plavix too, and seems like I'm always getting bruises. Wife used to ask where I got that dandy bruise when I took off my shirt for bed, and I could never remember. Doesn't even ask any more.

My cardiac specialist seems to think I should take Eliquis I bleed pretty easy from that also. I got my seven prescriptions filled the other day and six cost way less than $20 and that dxxxxx Eliquis was over $120 after the M/C and Ins was thru.

My 27 JD D bit me the other day. Was walking past it and for some stupid reason I was way too close to it. Caught my shin on the square nut on the end of the front wheel hub. That was worth 15 stitches.

Those purple blotches on the back of my hands are "inside tattoos", but grandson doesn't believe it. Leo

Just a guess but I'd think with a tag like 37chief you'd have gotten used to leaving some hide behind time to time. gm ;-)
